Patricio Wills: W Studios will produce for Canal 1 Colombia in 2018

For now Wills is focused on their projects with Univision and Televisa
Patricio Wills, president of W Studios was present in the presentation of Canal 1 on Wednesday, August 9. He commented that the idea is to produce for Canal 1 in 2018, since for now they are focused on their big projects with Univision and Televisa.
“We are going through a difficult moment —so to speak—, with very big production, three big projects, and to venture into that right now would be irresponsible. For the year 2018 we are thinking about projects with Canal 1, we are thinking about opportunities, they will arrive, we will see them,” expressed the executive.
He also added, “there is no doubt that Canal 1 and the components and partners of Canal 1 are and will be an appropriate partner of W Studios, in terms of experience, product development in company in partnership and co-production, regardless of what we are doing.”
According to Wills, after the US and Mexico, Colombia is, regarding original production, the most important country in Latin America, therefore, producing in that country would give them a vision of these three places that few people have the opportunity to reach.
As for if the production FOXTelecolombia production Infieles will be part of the programming of Canal 1, he commented feeling pleased that his friends the Duque are part of this project.
When referring to his performance in the company and his main goal, he mentioned that: “for now, my work, my full time job is to be the CEO of W and I will continue for several years”.
