PrendeTV first step in Univision’s future growth

Sameer Deen, Chief Digital Officer at Univision Communications, announced that other businesses like PrendeTV will come to drive the group’s future growth. “This is an important step for the growth of Univision. We made this service from scratch and 100% in Spanish. We have taken time, energy, and experience to create this platform that will be one of the key pieces of our digital portfolio. In the next few days, we will reveal the advertising partners for its launch,” expressed Deen during his participation in the talks of the first day of Natpe Virtual Miami 2021.
He explained that launching this product for free was what made the most sense and appealed to the US Hispanic market. “A service that is complementary to those the user already has,” he added. Deen was interviewed by Sara Fischer, a Media reporter at Axios.
