Scarpetta Media: Our focus is to offer the industry our expertise in production, creative services and post-production

Jonathan Wul and Hernán Salama, who together combine more than 20 years of experience in entertainment show production and post-production, respectively, created Scarpetta Media, to generate original content for the different platforms and channels in the region and the US.

Both began their careers in Argentina, Wul at Gustavo Yankelevich’s RGB Entertainment as producer of Popstars, the first great musical reality show in that country broadcast by Telefe. There he met Salama, who was the head and post-production coordinator of the show. Wul has also worked for other important companies such as Disney LatAm, Canal 13, América TV and Telefe, and alongside prominent figures on Argentine TV such as Susana Giménez, Marley, Julián Weich and Antonio Gasalla, among others.

“This journey has led me today, together with Hernán, to found our own company, complementing our knowledge and reputation in the industry. Our focus is on pouring all our passion, responsibility and work into creating new projects, providing the best solutions and continuing to learn,” said Wul.

Scarpetta Media was founded in 2021 with two locations, Buenos Aires and Miami. Both partners report that this 2022 will strengthen relationships, evaluate projects and possible alliances and 2023 will be the year to take off.

“There is a boom of content and great movement in the industry. This is very positive. There is a world to explore. We believe that we can help with our creativity and experience. Our goal in 2023 is to be a new player in this industry, with our own name, based on our experience and offering it to our partners. There are a lot of platforms and there are a lot of options where one can generate projects. But what matters, and as we know by growing in this medium, is that the content is what rules,” they pointed out.

They also mention that they feel capable of “cover the entire production chain and the aspects that arise. “Our experience gives us a plus to do that.”

Among their recent work is the documentary series Leyendas (12×60’), about the great figures of Argentine soccer, for the digital channels of Argentine public TV. Also a project in development for Telefe promotions. They also organized an esports event in Argentina where 12,000 people attended.
