Ariel Tobi, founder of Snap TV and Senior VP, Distribution and Content at Hemisphere Media Group, states that they are preparing to surprise and innovate in 2019. Tuesday, November 27 they reported that they consolidated a 75% participation in Hemisphere Media Group´s Snap Global, LLC.

“Snap starts 2019 with their entire mind focused on the new relationship with Hemisphere, with Hemisphere 100% inside. During 2018 and I would say part of 2017, we were concentrated on closing this agreement, and now is when we are truly beginning to play the cards. I think Snap has to return, with the personality it always had, being a super dynamic company, very alert to the market trends. Today what we are doing is getting ready and preparing Hemisphere to go out into the international market with all the power,” said Ariel Tobi.

He stated that they have all the possibilities to be a very interesting company in Latin America, with the support of US media, which is the market that everyone in Latin America wants to enter. “Hemisphere itself, through its channels, like Cinelatino, PantaYA, is our presentation card for all the alliances and productions we want to do in Latin America,” said Tobi.

In the statement where they reported on the acquisition of 75% of Snap Global by Hemisphere, Tobi said “This is a very exciting moment for all of us and we hope to be able to make the most of our global production, the creation of content and distribution partnerships to expand Hemisphere’s international business strategy. We are delighted to officially join the team and work with the executive leadership while Hemisphere continues broadening its global content platform.”
