
Documentales Justicia TV en WAWA Business Forum
Four social justice documentary projects were presented for consideration by the Mexican public TV network, Justicia TV, on the third and last day of the first WAWA Business Forum.
Tania Dorado, Head of Acquisitions at Justicia TV, was responsible for assessing the projects. Dorado explained that their television grill is made up of 40% cans and 60% of in-house production.
Perla Atanacio Medellín, a Mexican producer, and screenwriter presented the documentary Día de Descanso (70′), produced in 2018, which aims to raise awareness about domestic workers in Mexico.
Delia Ackerman, a documentary maker from Peru, presented her work Hatun Phajcha Tierra Sana (90 ‘), which took nine years of work. The intention is to raise awareness about the well-being of the peasants who are responsible for the diversity of Peru’s food heritage.
Eduardo Chávez-Guerra offered the documentary El Llanto de los Sapos, about the decline of glaciers in South America, for the consideration of Justicia TV.
Horacio Grinberg closed with the documentary series Malvinas. Crímenes en la Guerra: El Enemigo Adentro (6×40′).
