Grupo Secuoya lands in the U.S. and positions its brand in the southern part o the country after opening offices in on Brickell Avenue in Miami. Secuoya USA, Inc. was recently formed and has now been based in Florida for two months. The goal is to identify and seize business opportunities in the North American market and thus export their integration model that is based on content creation, distribution, production and provision of services. The offices are in dialogue with the main audiovisual groups in Florida in order to establish a TV programming production centre. The company aims to close its first year in the U.S. with substantial figures in the books and has made all content and services from its national and international portfolio available to the American market.The company is about to sign an agreement with the first American company to work on digital content production for the Latino and Anglo windows. The audiovisual services unit at Secuoya USA is also reaching an agreement to hold shares of one of the main companies that works on added value services for the disabled (subtitling, audio description, dubbing and mobile apps). In terms of content, Secuoya has reached an important agreement for the production of thematic musical programs with PBS, as well as other parallel content production and services contracts both in Miami and New York. Simultaneously, Secuoya USA is assessing the opening of a business unit for news content production, with national and international contributions. Grupo Secuoya is currently in negotiations with two channels to implement the model.Jesús Martín, Chair of Secuoya USA leads a group of senior professionals from Grupo Secuoya Spain, who have joined this initiative of internationalization.
