Telemundo: We present a more varied and complete channel than what it was in the past

In the framework of NBCUniversal Hispanic Group’s past upfront, Luis Silberwasser, president of Telemundo, told PRODU that next year the audience can experience a more varied and complete channel than in the past and than what competitors offer.He highlighted that the reason for the upfront under NBCUniversal Hispanic Group is to take to agencies and clients a portfolio of options in English and in Spanish.“We are going to the market with a more portfolio-type proposal, which includes Telemundo, NBC Universo, the digital proposal and they have the possibility to buy the target of Hispanics who speak English. It is also possible to offer them NBCUniversal´s channels in English. I think we are not the only ones who are bringing this type of solution, but that we are the only ones who can, since we have great channels in Spanish and in English, we can offer advertisers a more integrated proposal that satisfies their needs”, explains Silberwasser.He highlighted that among the upcoming dramas are Bajo el Mismo Cielo, which presents characters from US Hispanic and is based on the script of A Better Life. “It is about a Mexican immigrant who arrives to Los Angeles and tries to give his children a better life. We are very proud of this proposal”, he stated. He also mentioned Señora Acero 2, El Señor de los Cielos 4, La Querida del Centauro (first co-production of the deal made with Sony), Celia from FOXTelecolombia and, Hasta que te Conocí from Disney, Somos and BTF.
