Televisa signs up Zodiak Media for Stand Up For Your Country

Televisa International has signed a deal with Zodiak Media for its brand new music entertainment format Stand Up For Your Country. Zodiak Media has optioned the format for US, UK, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. The deal, which follows the formats commission in Mexico (Televisa) and Spain (Mediaset España for Telecinco), was brokered following the formats debut at Mipcom last month.Stand Up For Your Country is inspired by the viral video phenomena of parents and children singing and dancing together. The popularity of these videos has seen everyday families transformed into overnight Internet sensations. Now there’s a prime time entertainment series that gives these amazing kids and parents a chance to shine on stage in front of the entire nation in a celebration of family and music that is refreshingly different to anything seen before.
