Univision promotes Luz María Doria to VP and executive producer of Despierta América

Luz María Doria has been promoted to VP and executive producer of Univision Network’s Despierta América. Over the last 10 years at Univision, Doria has helped change the conversation about morning television. Under her leadership, Despierta América has become one of the fastest-growing morning shows on broadcast television. Prior to joining Despierta América in 2012, she held other key positions at sister network TeleFutura (now UniMás), including Director of Entertainment overseeing productions such Escándalo TV and La Tijera, as well as specials.
