Donald Trump declared a national emergency in the US and allocated US$50 billion in federal funds for the various states and municipalities in the country to fight against the threat of the coronavirus.

These resources will be used to help the areas with problems to build shelters and mobile hospitals as well as for transportation and public safety.
Trump also exercised his authority to provide capital and liquidity for companies affected, such as several media industries and our audiovisual content industry.

Part of this fund that was allocated to combat the virus will also be used to stabilize the markets that have presented great falls since last week.
