Andres Restrepo of MADE: We’re out to steal people’s stares in the streets

Andrés Restrepo de MADE

MADE started 2023 with new accounts in its portfolio. One of them is Izzi, among Mexico’s largest telecom and Internet networks. “We’re excited because it’s a very large digital account. It’s seeking a change, more creativity, more entertainment and fewer blog posts,” said Andres Restrepo, creative VP of MADE. The choice of this agency started with the change it was seeking in its digital communications strategy and from its wish to connect with much younger audiences.“The work is always easier and more fun with clients that understand the outside world and what’s going on there – and without doubt, Izzi is one of them. They want to get back to being an entertaining brand that takes chances and also has the advantage of being a brand that moves very fast,” Restrepo said. Also added to the risks taken is Edenred, leader in transactional solutions for companies, employees and merchants. “This is a different kind of account that will also bring its own challenges, while being a great win for the agency. They are very open to doing different things,” he said.In that sense, he added that MADE is an agency that doesn’t want to limit itself to being a simple .blog post, but rather “we’re out to take actions that steal people’s stares in the street.”At the same time, he noted that the new elements continue with their clients of previous years like the tequila breweer Casa Cuervo and multinational auto manufacturer Stellantis. “The awards we have also won, such as the most recent in the Circulo de Oro for Independent Agency of the Year, strengthens that unique creative image that characterizes MADE” Restrepo said.
