Budweiser out to become pop culture icon with global Rihanna and Jay-Z campaign

La campaña protagonizada por Rihana y Jay-Z estaré presente en 85 países

Budweiser announced an 85-country launch of its new campaign starring Rihanna and Jay-Z. The project dubbed Made for Music includes TV commercials featuring the two stars, limited-edition packaging, digital extensions, outdoor advertising and sponsorship of Rihanna and Jay-Z concerts.The campaign marks Bud’s first worldwide musical project as it seeks to do with its beer what Coca-Cola did in the soft-drink category – build a global brand. Made for Music “allows us to bring Budweiser back as an icon of pop culture,” said Ricardo Marques, the brewery’s global advertising director. In the United States, Budweiser has a long history of marketing with music, a tactic the brand has used even more in recent years as a strategy to win over multicultural youths.The campaign features the two superstars in their respective TV spots called Dreams are Made, both directed by Mark Romanek, complemented with print ads and content on the Bud website.At the same time, Budweiser will bring live music to fans around the world with more than 160 events in 25 countries. “Budweiser Made for Music is a tribute to those who continue to put their energy and passion everyday in the pursuit of their dreams.
