Christine Villanueva Named Chief Strategy and Brand Officer at Walton Isaacson

Walton Isaacson has promoted Dr. Christine Villanueva, to Chief Strategy and Brand Officer, a new position. Villanueva , who has a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Michigan, joined Walton Isaacson in August 2016 as SVP, Head of Strategy. Since the day Villanueva joined the agency, her contagious passion for great ideas and great work has been on display, fueling creative campaigns, business strategies and new business wins including the Lexus Black Panther work, NYPD, McDonald’s, and Nike to name a few. In her new position, Villanueva is charged with leading and building out a next generation global strategy function at the agency as well as overseeing all branding efforts on behalf of clients. In this role, Villanueva also will work with the agency’s cross disciplinary leadership team on the agency’s brand messaging and its unique position within the advertising industry. “Christine is exceptionally well qualified at establishing strategic brand foundations. A true pioneer of cross-cultural planning, Christine’s career has been steeped in both multicultural and broad-based consumer insight work and analytics,” Walton Isaacson co-founder and partner Aaron Walton said. “She has impeccable credentials, perfect for this position.
