Discovery U.S. Hispanic launches new multi platform programming offer

Discovery U.S. Hispanic announced the development of a multi platform agreement in association with Mitú, to produce original digital content and TV series. The programming will debut on Discovery en Español and on Discovery Familia, with complementary content on the Mitú digital platforms. As part of the deal, Mitú and Discovery U.S. Hispanic will develop series and contents in Spanish and in English, adapted to different social networks like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Vine, Pinterest, and Periscope. The The social multi platform experience will offer millennial latinos culturally relevant programming, wherever they want, and in the platform they choose.“We are proud of partnering with Mitú and building together on their success with millennials in the digital space and bringing their popular talents to our networks”, said Angela Recio Sondon, Content VP for Discovery Network U.S. Hispanic. “This agreement allows us to satisfy our multi screen audience with close, high-quality content and offer our clients innovative solutions for branded entertainment derived from our combined expertise and creativity”.
