The International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers (IQ) will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in Miami, in the context of their annual conference. Donna Hampton, President of the association and CEO of Capitol Productions Sydney-Tokyo, spoke with PRODU about the expectations for this event. The 2016 IQ Conference will be held from September 25th to October 1st in the iconic Biltmore Hotel. Hampton explained that IQ is a unique network of filmmakers and company owners from the media industry. “Our Members can rely on any, of our global Members, when seeking production assistance, shared knowledge and expertise. The exchange of information is honest and unique in its source” she added.”The diversity of our members and of their projects is always of most interest to IQ. We are celebrating our 50th Anniversary and Miami is the perfect location because it is also a very diverse city. I am sure that our founding members from 1966 would also be celebrating if they knew that IQ has grown to include 96 members in 48 countries” assured Hampton. “Anyone who leads a company or is part of an organization, knows what is needed to reach 50 years of operations, particularly dealing with work in such diverse markets. This is a very special moment for IQ and its members.””IQ is a marvelous organization that is just 50 years young, and I think it is finding its way as we all constantly are, in an ever changing industry. In Miami we are not just celebrating the 50th anniversary of IQ, we are also establishing the foundation for IQ to stride forward into the next 50 years as the invaluable global network that it is” she ended.
