GQ Magazine appoints Nizan Guanaes on its list of 2014 leaders

The founder of the organization’s largest marketing services partner of Brazil was chosen as Men of the Year in the category of Leadership, by GQ magazine in Brazil. The publication commemorates Guanaes in 16 different categories. Thus, the Brazilian joins luminaries along with prominent professional surfer, Gabriel Medina; and the photographer Sebastião Salgado.The publication also highlights the work of the renowned leader in advertising that has been developing in the ABC Group, a large corporation dedicated to communications in Latin America.Guanaes as visionary and entrepreneur was also named one of the five most influential Brazilians in the world by the Financial Times. As if that were not enough, he was recognized as the only Brazilian among 21 global professionals from Marketing for Advertising Age; and one of the 100 most creative people in business, according to the magazine Fast Company.With a degree in Business Administration from the Federal University of Bahia, he is known for his trajectory and awards, such as Entrepreneur of the Year by the magazine InfoExame e-business and one of the 16 candidates / entrepreneurs to make history by Exame magazine.”I believe that leadership is one of my qualities and was very important in 2014, because it was a difficult year as the world provided much of an opportunity as a risk. I think life has taught me about leadership and so as I built ABC Group to be a company that employs more than 2,500 people,” Guanaes said.
