Weed: Pronto todos los consumidores utilizarán algún tipo de asistente virtual

Unilever CMO, Keith Weed, explained that he is attending CES 2016 trying to understand where the market is going. “The company is focusing on three specific things this year: artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and virtual reality” he said. For Weed, artificial intelligence will be part of everyone´s reality in the near future. “Life’s getting too busy. … We’re going to have things to help us in our day to day lives.” As an example, he pointed to chef Wendy, who helps Knorr clients make dinner. According to the CMO, the Internet of Things is a topic that has been present for years, and it is only now becoming a reality. “Unilever is looking beyond the obvious things like smart kitchens and appliances that can be filled with Unilever soap and food products. We are thinking about things like cars. Which are increasingly computers on wheels. At the end of the day, what do cars do? Cars drive past supermarkets, so why not have them alert the driver about a Ben & Jerry’s sale when your fridge just told you you were running low on?” mentioned Weed. “If you want to get to the future first, you´ve got to have a point of view” he ended.
