
LOréal Paris reconoce a 10 mujeres excepcionales en su 9.° programa anual Women of worth
L’Oréal Paris honored ten women for their outstanding contributions to their communities in the Women of worth 9th annual celebration, which was held on Tuesday and recognized Phyllis Sudman, co-founder of Simon’s Fund, as the National Honored Women of Worth 2014. Inspired by the philosophy of L’Oreal Paris brand icon, Because you’re worth, the program focuses on women who make a beautiful difference in the world through volunteering. Industry leaders, celebrities, and executive women in different sectors gathered at The Pierre Hotel in New York City to hear and share the incredible stories of these women. Each honoree received Women of worth US $ 10,000 and was chosen through a rigorous process conducted by L’Oréal Paris and Points of Light, the largest organization focusing on volunteer service.The national honoree named Women of Worth 2014, was Phyllis Sudman, co-founder of Simon’s Fund, who received $ 25,000 additional after receiving thousands of votes through social platforms, supporting her efforts to educate people about cardiac arrest and sudden death among young athletes. “We are committed to sharing the stories of all our Women of Worth with new audiences in order to inspire other women to follow their passion and make a difference” the president of L’Oréal Paris, Karen T. Fondu, said.
