Lorenzo Bombicci, senior creative editor of the Upstairs postproduction company, revealed to PRODU his passion for telling stories.Most noteworthy in the reel accumulated by Bombicci in his more than 17 years in the business is the subtlety in the details, which finally add up to a story in the consumers mind and give brands a meaning. I feel that both agencies and production companies have an appreciation for me that is far greater than I ever expected when I chose this profession Bombicci says.Over the past year, Bombicci has applied his skills to campaigns for some of the worlds most prestigious brands, in markets as different one from the other as Brazil and China. During this time, the international reputation of his work has paralleled the creative and artistic challenges he had to face.Production companies like Blue Productora, Argentina Cine, Agosto Buenos Aires, Rebolucion, Procine, Bossa Nova Filmes and Labhouse have sought Bombiccis participation this year in a number of projects with excellent results.The most important thing I learned from the professionals with whom I have worked, and Im talking about some incredibly talented people, is precisely that talent is not so important if its not accompanied by hard work. In the end, what distinguishes a person isnt talent, a virtue in which I believe very little, but the hard work that turns crisis situations into opportunities he says.
