The CEO of Hispanicize Media Group and Founder of DiMe Media and Hispanic Kitchen, Manny Ruiz, will receive the SCORE Miami Dade Entrepreneur Spirit Award.Ruiz has a 25-year career in the world of media and marketing, he is recognized as one of the Latin pioneers in the space of social networks and has been the promotor of the Hispanicize Event that celebrated in 2016 its eighth edition and is the biggest marketing, entertainment, influencers and Hispanic media gathering in the U.S.“I am honored and full of humbleness to work with such a great team of women and men who make our work much easier than it is” stated Ruiz. “This award is a testimony of the work and creativity of our team and allows us to continue with our belief that Miami is a very special base for entrepreneurs like us.” SCORE Miami Dade and the SCORE Miami Business and Leadership Awards will give Ruiz this award in the second annual delivery of the SCORE Miami Business and Leadership Awards Luncheon that will take place on September 29th from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the 94th Aero Squadron.Other awardees are: Bernie Navarro from Benworth Capital Partners, who will receive the award for Heritage; Kristina Villaverde from Miami Light Project, with Culture award; Zak H. Stern from ZAK the Baker, for Emerging Business and Susan Perry from SpeechMed for Innovation.
