Telemundo 47 New York boosts its news team

Telemundo 47 New York/WNJU announced the addition of two new journalists to its news team. Telemundo 47 has named Fernando Gómez, reporter for the station’s morning and evening newscasts, Noticiero Telemundo 47 Primera Edición at 5am and Noticiero Telemundo 47 at 5:30pm, 6pm and 11pm. Gómez will work alongside Alfredo Acosta who was named reporter recently for the station’s early morning and evening newscasts. Both will join weekday morning News anchors Allan Villafaña and Odalys Molina, weekday evening News anchors Jorge Ramos and Yaima Crespo and a team of dynamic Weather and Sports anchors and reporters to deliver local breaking news and information to Spanish-speaking viewers in the New York Tri-State area. Additionally, Victoria Sosa has been named the new full-time host of Telemundo 47’s local entertainment show, Acceso Total, which airs weekdays at 10am.“Fernando and Alfredo are outstanding journalists who are passionate about reporting the news that our communities deserve to know about.
