Juancho Cardona, founding partner of the production house 11:11 Films & TV, presented his new film Dime lo Que Quieres (De Verdad) carried out with his brother Manolo, which premiered Thursday 27 on ViX. The film is part of a recent agreement with this streaming service to produce new original titles. He assured that platforms will always be a means to begin or end a movie.

“A great path for an original film is to go straight to a platform. Viewers want to see something with a beginning and an end; that grabs their attention; that makes them experience a beautiful cinematic narrative like the one we want to do and are doing. But if the film goes first to the cinema, which is another valid and important way for the producers, it’s also valid to keep films inside the movie theaters,” he said.

Cardona added that ViX is an important partner and a great strategic ally. “It has a large-scale vision seeking to make important productions and relevant content to captivate and promote Latin America and Ibero-America for the world. It is a platform focused on doing things well, where producers like 11:11 Films can have the freedom and pleasure of making original content that transcends.”

As for the film, scripted and directed by Bruno Ascenzo, the producer said it is an adaptation of Dos+Dos (Argentina). “It addresses love and sexuality and truth, loyalty, and friendship. All this motivated me to look for an ally as important as ViX for this story that can captivate all audiences.”

“We just finished a series with ViX called Polen, a wonderful thriller I directed and will be available next year. We also have series and a couple of films on the doorstep; we’re constantly producing and creating thanks to all our clients and the public who have accepted and supported us,” he said, adding that they also work with all platforms.
