Actress Kate del Castillo is working on the possibility of doing the version in English of Las Aparicio de Argos

The rights over the series Las Aparicio were transferred to Mexican actress Kate del Castillo, who is working on the possibility of taking it to the US market in English. I would like it to be a fun adaptation, but with the depth it originally has, with strong and intelligent women. We are working on the idea that it could be in English, we think it has many possibilities, commented the actress.Meanwhile, Epigmenio Ibarra, Argos CEO, highlighted that it is not easy to take a story with those characteristics to the US TV, since [the Hispanic society] is a bit more conservative and ïn the US they have trouble seeing Latinos in a different way. Here there are four Latina, professional women and it cant be any other way.For now, the film version of Las Aparicio will be launched in 2016. Currently, Kate del Castillo and Epigmenio Ibarra are working together in the new original Netflix production, Ingobernable.
