“From the technical point of view, we recorded all our content in an optimal format for streaming and from there, distributed on all our apps so that users can enjoy RCTV content where and how they want to,” mentioned Carlos Granier, CTO of Radar, technological services provider, who, together with Streann Media developed the new RCTV app.

“We already had the experience of developing a streaming app from scratch and knew very well the challenges to be able to reach all our fans at a manageable cost. Streann is a leader in this market and we have followed their path. With Streann we were able to control time and cost to achieve a solution present on all the important platforms, with a quality product that additionally allows us to offer advertisers the best experience to reach our fans,” he added.

They reported that for the user it is very easy: “It is enough to create an account when opening the app for the first time. From there on, the service allows you to save your favorites, maintains the progress in each episode, and on other devices you use, and allows you to subscribe to watch premium content”.

Users can also participate in polls, trivia games (with awards), live broadcasts (radio and tv), send videos, chat with other users, and read the most recent news from El Observador RCTV.

The app is available for Android, iPhone, Apple TV, Roku, Smart TV, and web.
