Alterna´TV with growth expectations in the Andean region

Andina Link represents a market of good opportunities for Alterna´TV and to announce new agreements that are being discussed, according to comments from Leonardo Pinto, Alterna´TV International Corporation´s senior Distribution director for Latin America.”Our general goal in Andina Link is to grow even more in the distribution of our channels among paid TV operators in the region and increase our presence in the different existing distribution platforms and the ones that are arising. We know that certain needs are arising regarding different content in different operations, and that is where Alterna’TV and the channels we handle can make a difference. For this we are in touch with the diverse platforms, present them with the advantages and variety of the different of our signals” highlighted Pinto.Pinto indicated that the Andean region has a big importance for the group in Latin America, not only due to the presence of panreagional operators in all the territories, but also because of individual kinds operations which have grown and continue to grow in all the territories that make up the region.”In the Andean area there is a great offer of linear channels through the operators, but there are also opportunities coming up through other distribution channels and platforms, and that is where the business in the region is beginning to point towards and in that scope, Alterna’TV has a great advantage due to the variety of channels and varied content in different genres” he added.He stated that the Colombian market continues to grow, as well as Ecuador, Perú and in Veneuzuela even with the local difficulties they are going through, the paid TV business is growing, “which is why the region has and will continue to have weight in Latin America” he ended.
