Atresmedia debuts in the FAST space with three channels for the US Hispanic market

Atresmedia Internacional has chosen to launch its FAST Channels Zona Investigación, Cine y Series, and Única on Fubo and the global media streaming platform Plex
Atresmedia Internacional makes its debut in the FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) segment with three new channels, Zona Investigación, Cine y Series, and Única adding to the offerings already operated by the leading Spanish media group in the international market.
The three FAST Channels join the four linear channels -Antena 3, Atreseries, Atrescine, and ¡HOLA! TV – and the online platform – atresplayer – already operated by Atresmedia Internacional, reaching over 60 million households in Latin America and the United States.
For this initial phase, Atresmedia Internacional has chosen to launch on Fubo and global media streaming platform Plex, two U.S. global media streaming platforms. The goal is to expand the presence of these streaming and free signals in the Americas through upcoming agreements with other distributors.
With nearly 30 years in the pay TV business, Atresmedia Internacional is behind premieres such as Vis a Vis, La Cocinera de Castamar, La Edad de la Ira, La Valla, Los Protegidos, Deudas, and some of the most iconic titles in Brazilian novelas.
Now, as its director, Mar Martínez-Raposo, asserts, “We want to bring our content closer to the emerging audiences in the market, highlighting our extensive experience as well as the production strength and vast library of Atresmedia, which succeed worldwide.”
The three new FAST channels stand out for their variety of genres:
-Zona Investigación (ZI): A deep dive into the most challenging reality with a journalistic approach to thoroughly uncover what truly happens behind notable events Reports, documentaries, interviews, and impactful reports reveal unprecedented facts and untold human stories, following extensive research.
-Cine y Series (CyS): Spanish series and films ensuring fun and entertainment with programming encompassing all genres: comedy, drama, intrigue… featuring renowned directors and actors on the world stage.
-Única: A lifestyle channel that focuses on personal well-being through ideas and advice and real stories featuring important and recognized women.
