Atresmedia: With the entry of Antena 3 to DIRECTV we added close to a million subscribers

Mar Martínez of Atresmedia prepares launches for September

After the announcement of the entry of Antena 3 Internacional to the grid of DIRECTV, the general manager of Atresmedia Internacional, Mar Martínez, mentioned that this totals nearly one million more subscribers for this signal, which represents distribution in almost the entire US Hispanic market.

“We have worked closely with the DIRECTV team and this is the first big US operator that has our three signals: Antena 3, Atreseries and ¡HOLA! TV” she commented.

Martínez highlighted that as a group, they are making a big investment in producing contents. That is why during the last quarter of the year “there will be new programs in each one of our signals, with new seasons of programs such as Tu Cara Me Suena for Antena 3. On ¡HOLA! TV we will celebrate fashion month with international catwalks and on Atreseries we will have the most exclusive titles as our first international screen.”

To end, she explained that in such a competed market regarding productions in Spain and internationally, “now is when quality is starting to be appreciate. We have no competitors in this sense, and we will prove it with our contents.”
