Beatriz Carvalho to oversee Floresta’s development and fiction production

Floresta, Sony Pictures Television’s production company in Brazil, has engaged Beatriz Carvalho to oversee development and fiction production.

With over twenty years’ experience in the audiovisual market, Beatriz has worked as an executive producer in important companies and projects. At O2 Filmes, she took part in series such as Raul: Eu Sou and the second season of Cidade de Deus; at Coração da Selva, she was part of the soap opera Beleza Fatal and the series Além do Guarda-Roupa teams; and at Preta Portê Filmes, she worked on the documentary Racionais MCs – Das Ruas de São Paulo para o Mundo. She was also a partner, producer and executive producer for eight years at Klaxon Cultura Audiovisual, where she developed award-winning works such as Diz a Ela Que Me Viu Chorar (2019) and Sobre Rodas (2019).

At Floresta, Beatriz will contribute with her extensive experience in the development, and production of new narratives for a variety of platforms.
