Melisenda Barajas, Group Account Director at BeautifulBeast
BeautifulBeast is pleased to announce that Melisenda Barajas has joined the agency as Group Account Director, further strengthening the agency’s account leadership with a seasoned marketer known for strategic thinking, deep client empathy, and a proven ability to connect business goals with meaningful brand work.
Barajas brings a distinctive perspective to BeautifulBeast after spending more than 20 years working on the client side. That experience gives her a deep understanding of the challenges, expectations, and opportunities clients face every day and makes her especially well-positioned to help build strong, productive partnerships.
Having built her career in organizations and brands like Bimbo Bakeries USA and, most recently, at DFW International Airport, Barajas understands firsthand the importance of clarity, responsiveness, and strategic alignment. She is recognized for listening carefully to client needs, asking the right questions, and helping teams create solutions that are both thoughtful and effective.
“Melisenda brings the kind of strategic leadership every client hopes for: thoughtful, experienced, and grounded in listening,” said Aldo Quevedo, CEO of BeautifulBeast.
In her new role, Barajas will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to strengthen partnerships and elevate the agency’s strategic and creative efforts. She will support client relationships by offering thoughtful perspectives, fostering strong collaboration, and maintaining a clear focus on aligning brand strategy with business objectives. Barajas will also help reinforce the agency’s account management team and improve the level of strategic advice that BeautifulBeast provides to its clients.

“Melisenda’s experience on the client side gives her a unique perspective on what a great partnership really looks like,” said Salma Gottfried, Chief Brand Officer at BeautifulBeast. “She understands how important it is for teams and clients to work closely together to build ideas that are both strategically sound and culturally meaningful. That kind of collaboration is essential to the way we work.”
Barajas joins BeautifulBeast at a time of continued momentum for the agency. Named one of Ad Age’s Best Small Agencies of 2024 and 2025, BeautifulBeast continues to build on its reputation for helping brands connect with Hispanic and multicultural audiences through performance storytelling, blending the art of storytelling with the discipline of measurable business impact.
“Great account leadership starts with listening,” said Barajas. “The best partnerships are built on trust, clarity, and a real understanding of what matters most to clients. I’m excited to join BeautifulBeast and help strengthen that work across the agency.”
With Barajas joining the team, BeautifulBeast continues to invest in senior talent that deepens client partnerships, strengthens its strategic leadership, and supports the agency’s continued growth.
