Canal Once premieres Sofía Luna, Agente Especial on Tuesday, August 9

Sofía Luna, Agente Especial (13×22´) will debut on Tuesday, August 9 at 4pm on Canal Once´s international signal. The new science-focused children´s adventures series is an original production by Canal Once.The series follows the adventures of a young physics student, Sofía Luna, who also works as a secret special agent. It also incorporates scientific experiments (which viewers can recreate at home with adult supervision) to explain the basis of the agents’ work. The cast includes: Inés de Tavira (Sofía Luna), Carlos Aragón (Otto Van Carpio and Profesor Nemecio), Eduardo Minett (Pato Luna), Julieta Fierro (Agente Especial Julieta), Enrique Chi (Bulmaro), Armando Tapia (Agente “Y”), Adriana Morales (Federica Piña) and Luis Ángel Jiménez (Mateo), who worked under the direction of Alfonso Cárcamo.Sofía Luna, Agente Especial is produced in collaboration with Dr. Julieta Fierro, a researcher at UNAM’s Astronomy Institute who was awarded the Kalinga Award by UNESCO for scientific promotions and one of Mexico’s top scientific advisors.
