Canela Media Launches Five New FAST Channels on Amazon’s Fire TV Channels

Canela Media announced the launch of five new free ad-supported channels (FAST) on Amazon’s Fire TV Channels in the U.S., bringing even more of Canela.TV’s rich and diverse content to audiences nationwide.

“Expanding to Fire TV Channels allows us to share Canela.TV’s content with millions of new viewers,” said Karsten Amlie, SVP of Content Distribution and General Counsel at Canela Media. “We’re thrilled to bring these five new channels to audiences who love to connect with the stories, stars, and culture they cherish.”

The new channels include:

Canela.TV Pasión Latina – Telenovelas and movies from the U.S., México, Colombia, Argentina, and Venezuela, starring some of the most celebrated actors in Latin entertainment.

Canela.TV Deportes – Live sports and talk shows covering soccer, boxing, and baseball, the sports Latino audiences love.

Canela.TV Narco Drama – Intense dramas exploring the shadowy world of drug traffickers, blended with passion and high-stakes romance.

Canela.TV Hollywood y Más – Hollywood action and drama, from blockbuster hits to classic favorites.

Canela.TV Clásicos – Timeless treasures from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, featuring legends like Pedro Infante, María Félix, El Santo, La India María, and Capulina.

All channels are now available on Fire TV Channels to users across the United States on Fire TV, Fire Tablet, and Echo Show devices at no additional cost.

In June, Canela Media announced that it has set a new benchmark for Hispanic FAST streaming with 88% year-over-year growth in monthly viewing hours when it surpassed 6 million monthly viewing hours — an extraordinary 88% increase year-over-year from 3.2 million hours in June 2024.

This remarkable growth is fueled by Canela Media’s expansive distribution footprint, innovative programming strategy, and culturally resonant content that continues to captivate and grow both U.S. Hispanic and Latin American audiences.
