Discovery Networks appoints Carolina Lightcap as head of content of Discovery Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic

Discovery Networks has appointed Carolina Lightcap as head of content of Discovery Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic as well as general manager of the Southern Cone. Lightcap will work based out of Argentina and will report directly to Enrique R. Martinez, president and managing director, Discovery Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic. Im really excited for the opportunity to join this first-class organization that Enrique and his team have built, and to expand my horizons with new genres of content through Discoverys vast portfolio of brands in Latin America and in the Hispanic market of the U.S. she said. With more than 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment industries, Lightcap will be responsible for supervising all the areas within Discovery Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic relating to content, including programming, marketing, program promotion and on-air advertising.
