Emiliano Saccone, president of MundoFox, spoke with PRODU about the recent addition of WGEN-TV, Channel 8 of Miami, to the affiliate stations of MundoFox. “WGEN-TV, one of the few unaffiliated full-power stations in the Miami DMA market, offers the opportunity to combine MundoFox’s premier national programming with WGEN’s full coverage over the air, and wide distribution in Comcast, AT&T U-Verse, Atlantic Cable, DIRECTV and DISH homes. WGEN-TV also offers a consistent channel position and an ongoing commitment to local programming”, Saccone said. The executive added that they consider América CV Network, owners of their prior affiliate, WJAN-CD, an important part of the MundoFox family of stations, as they remain a valued affiliate in both New York City and Puerto Rico.
