Endemol Shine Boomdog: Our bet in fiction is Nicky Jam, Selena, and Menudo

Nicky Jam, Selena, and Menudo are Endemol Shine Boomdog´s big fiction bets for LA Screenings.

The biopic on Nicky Jam, already in post-production and made between Mexico, New York, Puerto Rico and Colombia, along with a great budget, has the added plus of starring the same artist, which makes it different and unique.

Selena, in the casting phase, is based on a book written by the singer´s widow, Chris Pérez, telling the love story they both lived. It will be finished by 2018. Menudo, on the mythical musical group, is co-produced with Somos. They are already finishing the writing process and will soon begin the preproduction.

They also produce formats such as Master Chef México, for Azteca, Master Chef Latino, for Telemundo, Chumel con Chumel Torres for HBO, How Do I Look? for E! and Mira Quién Baila for Univision. In group formats they are offering to take All Together Now, Family Food Fight, Lego Masters and Big Bounce Battle to the Mexican and US Hispanic markets.

The balance, after the creation of Endemol Shine Boomdog, between Endemol Shine Latino and Boomdog in November last year, is very positive. “We had already been together many years, but this time has been a time of experience and learning.
