Under the supervision and direction of Ángela Poblete in the Television area, Fábula aims to consolidate and expand its operation in Mexico. There, the company has developed several productions, is working on three post-production projects, has several development agreements, and is outlining some projects with different platforms. The goal is to produce originals and content on demand and offer production services.

“We are passionate about creating and constantly studying to offer attractive content that resonates. But we also want to offer platforms and creators in Mexico our production experience, such as we did before with the film Distancia de Rescate by Claudia Llosa or with the series Los Espookys on HBO. It would be an honor and a challenge to offer our production muscles for third-party content here,” explained Poblete, who moved recently from Chile to Mexico to take on the challenge.

Fábula provides directors with the best possible tools under the budgetary reality of each project so they can achieve their vision with the highest possible quality. “We defend quality above all and trust that it is possible to do all kinds of genres with the same desire, from a comedy to a period series,” said Poblete.

She added that the reputation and prestige of the production company open doors to work with the best talent in Latin America, including Mexico. “And that is a privilege because we are in a prosperous creative environment, learning constantly and exchanging knowledge. We feel like part of a dynamic and increasingly collaborative industry.”

According to Poblete, 2023 has been a year in which the Latino industry has been trying to define its size, identity, and audience. “It has taught us to be flexible, remain alert, seek collaborations and new business models.”

Fábula, founded in 2003 in Chile by the brothers Juan de Dios and Pablo Larraín, began operations in Mexico in 2021 and already has a team of 20 outstanding professionals.
