Father & Soldier and Summer Fever soon to showcase in theaters

Ledafilms’ catalog includes two upcoming feature films: Father & Soldier will be in theaters next year. and Summer Fever, late 2022 or early 2023.

Father & Soldier, directed by Mathieu Vadepied and starring Omar Sy, Alassane Diong and Jonas Bloquetet, is an intense war drama that takes place in 1917 in the French colony of Senegal. It is the story of a father who enlist in the French army to be with his 17-year-old son who has been recruited against his will. Together they will fight in the First World War on the French front, the son will be willing to give his life and the father will embark on a hellish race to save him.

Summit Fever is a drama that revolves around a young mountaineer who spends a hedonistic summer in Chamonix while attempting to scale the deadliest trio of mountains in the world. It stars Ryan Phillippe, Freddie Thorp, Michel Biel and Hannah New, and is directed by Julian Gilbey.

Also, during November of this year, the action thriller The ledge hit theaters in Ecuador and Peru, and the horror film Shut In was released in Argentina, Paraguay and Venezuela.

The Ledge, directed by Howard J. Ford and with a cast led by Nathan Welsh, Ben Lamb and Brittany Ashworth, is an action thriller in which five men stalk a young mountaineer who was recorded the moment in which one of them murders their friend at the foot of a mountain.

Shut In is a horror movie starring Rainey Qualley, Jake Horowitz and Vincent Gallo where a mother is entrenched inside a storage room by her violent ex-boyfriend and must figure out how to protect her children and find a way to escape. It is directed by D.J. Caruso.
