Fernanda Ruiz: Now are focus is on developing unscripted projects

Fernanda Ruiz, Development Manager of Banijay Mexico & US Hispanic, announced that the main objective of the company is on unscripted projects, for which they are already preparing the fifth season of LOL Mexico and two other Latin American territories, in addition to a talent show with the singer Becky G.

“We are focused on original unscripted projects, in order to expand and have a franchise in other territories, after that later we will think about scripted (fiction, drama, etc.). For now, entertainment such as reality shows is the main thing,” she said.

She said that the opening of these offices aims to cover the great demand for content both in Mexico and for Hispanics in the US, and invited those who have attractive projects to come.

Among the upcoming projects is the fifth season of LOL Mexico, in addition to the version of this product in other Latin American territories; Likewise, a talent show with the singer Becky G., who will prepare a group of girls to form a band: “She will be the guide and the mentor.”
