PRODU was present at the fourth annual edition of the América Viva cultural event at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami. The event was produced by the nonprofit organization New Land Theatricals, whose mission is to nurture and showcase the richness of Hispanic culture. ¡HOLA! was one of the event’s sponsors and supporters.
Among the attendees was Nagidmy Márquez, Chief Content Officer of ¡HOLA! Americas, who told Ríchard Izarra LIVE that three “wonderful” foundations would be honored during the event with the Inca Garcilaso Medal, named after the first mestizo of the Americas. These three organizations were the Celia Cruz Foundation, the Latin Grammy Foundation, and the Miami Children’s Chorus. Márquez noted that ¡HOLA! has supported Hispanic culture for 80 years.

Sandra Smester, Executive VP of Programming and Content Development at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, also attended the event. “I am a lover of our culture as Hispanics, and that is what we reflect on Telemundo—the love for Hispanics,” she said LIVE with Ríchard Izarra.
Patricia Jasin, Senior VP of Content Licensing for Latin America and Country Manager for Colombia at Warner Bros. Discovery, was also present at the América Viva gala. Speaking LIVE with Ríchard Izarra, she emphasized that the event was part of the industry: “Everything related to art is part of the industry. Miami is the base, the headquarters of Latin America, and supporting these events is always a beautiful way to help the city grow culturally.”
Glory Alcántara, Director of Multicultural Marketing at General Mills, shared the company’s vision regarding the Hispanic market in the U.S. and its approach to connecting with this growing community.
“This is an important event because it allows us to continue building bonds within the community. We believe that these types of spaces help us showcase our work and get closer to the Latino audience through what unites us: music, art, sports, and our passions.”
Carlos Sánchez, anchor for ¡HOLA! TV, also spoke LIVE with Ríchard Izarra, sharing that the biggest challenge as a presenter “is the wear and tear of hosting a one-hour daily show from Monday to Friday while staying up-to-date with the latest news.”
