FOX Networks Group Latin America: Aquí En La Tierra is our first series available for binge-watching

Carlos Martínez, president of FOX Networks Group Latin America, expressed in a MipTV conference, that Aquí En La Tierra (8×60′) is a risky production and a project that marks the difference. “We are honored that Gael and his team chose us”.
It is FOX’s first original production available as binge-watching starting Friday, April 20, but it will not be the last since many of the channel’s TV viewers are young.
Aquí En La Tierra is a co-production between FOX Networks (FNG) Latin America and La Corriente del Golfo. “It is not a Mexican story for Mexicans. It speaks to all Latin America and the world. It has a unique value, always telling stories that have our DNA,” expressed Mariana Pérez, SVP Development, and Production in the company.
Jorge Stamadianos, Content Development VP at FOX, expressed that it was a luxury to work on the creative adventure this production has been. “We started more than four years ago, and it was very enriching to give this proposal its final shape. It is a very risky one for an international channel. We must put these topics in the everyday conversation, Gael thinks this, as well.”
Gael García Bernal, Kyzza Terrazas, and Jorge Dorantes are the creators of the series. Bernal is also the director and actor of the first episode.
The series was chosen to participate in the official Canneseries competition and is the only one coming from Latin America. The results were announced on Wednesday, April 11.
