El otro lado del paraiso
Several Globo soap operas will be available on PrendeTV, Univision’s streaming service. Among them: El tiempo no para, El otro lado del paraíso and the children’s productions of Gloob Escuela de genios (first season), Hora del rock and Valentins.
El tiempo no para, written by Mario Teixeira and with artistic direction by Leonardo Nogueira, is the story of a family that was frozen in 1886 and awakens in our times in São Paulo.
El otro lado del paraíso, licensed for 85 countries, revolves around Clara (Bianca Bin), a young village girl who lives with her grandfather Josafá (Lima Duarte) that meets Gael (Sérgio Guizé), a rich heir. It is a plot of love, ambition and revenge written by Walcyr Carrasco (Dulce ambición) with the general direction of André Felipe Binder.
In Escuela de genios, a public school’s student is invited to attend a school where he will make friends with computer, chemistry, robotics geniuses and with a girl gifted with a super memory. It is the brainchild of Angela Hirata and has been broadcast in more than 30 countries.
Hora del rock, awarded Best Animation at the Bangalore Shorts Film Festival 2017, tells the story of four very unpopular kids who have a video game that allows them to take them to any place in the past, and they always end up in trouble and changing the course of history.
Valentins, licensed for countries such as Russia, Colombia, Sweden, Israel, Uruguay, Angola, Mozambique and Sri Lanka, takes place in pre-internet times and presents four brothers whose parents (both scientists) mysteriously disappear and must face all kinds of dangers and an unexpected adversary.
