Head anchor for the presidential election coverage on CNNE Juan Carlos López: Beginning Voto Latino a year and a half before the election was a success

Juan Carlos López, with more than 20 years at CNN, is the head anchor for the presidential election coverage in the U.S. on CNN en Español. He is also a correspondent in Washington. In an interview with PRODU, López spoke about the coverage and the evolution of Hispanic journalism in the U.S. He said that CNN en Español has been different than other networks in the U.S. for these elections because it hadn’t limited itself to only election night coverage, but had started a year and a half in advance with the program Voto Latino 2012.
