Video is not the only content that Edye, the SVOD platform for preschoolers, is offering, HITN is also developing podcasts.

“We are very excited to be working on meditation for children to calm them down, relax them at the end of the day and also focus on understanding and processing emotions. We’ve partnered with someone who’s incredibly popular in terms of meditation, podcasts, and everything, and who is working directly with us to create a series of kids’ podcasts that will be on Edye,” said Erika Vogt-Lowell, Director of Programming and Acquisitions at HITN.

HITN is also developing visual content to complement the podcast series. “Quite calm and relaxing Images, a little bit on the darker side of colors to help the child relax and calm down. We are excited about the different types of content that we will be adding. It’s not just video, it’s podcasts, music, books, and meditation. We are positioning Edye to be full service for both children and parents” she explained.

Vogt participated in the talk Diversidad es un Buen Negocio (Diversity is a Good Business) in the last edition of the Kidscreen Summit in Miami. She announced that they have plans to release several content featuring diversity in the coming months. “We have a couple of very good premieres coming out. One, focuses on an imaginary city, which has different types of families and several nationalities within the program”.

Several new Christmas content and programs will be released on SVOD, including short films. “We are planning to create content to watch as a family,” Vogt concluded.
