Itoydani and Comercial TV distribute Portuguese novela The Trap in LatAm and US Hispanic

Santiago Gimeno, president of Comercial TV, announced that they have signed an option with Antenna TV in Greece for the production of a local version of the Portuguese novela A Teia (The Trap), original by TVI.

The production was aired in the 11pm schedule, obtaining first place since its launch in November 2018 and until its final episode June 17 this year.

Produced by Plural and TVI in Portugal with 160 episodes, it tells the story of Lara and Simão, who must work together to find a solution to the mystery that almost caused the death of their parents, for which the police seems to have no answer. What they find out is just the tip of the iceberg, since more deaths continue to happen, and even though they seem not to be connected, they are all intertwined in a mysterious unending network.

Antenna TV has acquired the right to produce an adaptation to the Greek market, whereas Comercial TV confirms that other countries are also evaluating its acquisition as a finished product or to produce their own version.

Itoydani Corporation works with Comercial TV to promote the sales of the format and the can in Latin America and the US Hispanic.
