Jennifer Clark from Casteando.com: We want to connect talent with the industry

Clark said Casteando.com will launch on Friday, August 18

Jennifer Clark, Fernando Ortega and Marcelo DiChiara are the partners of the new venture Casteando.com, to be launched next Friday, August 18 in Miami (Local Crate, from 7 to 10pm).

“We created this company, an Internet platform in which talents, casting producers, directors and people in the industry, can look for the talent they require for their productions,” said Jennifer Clark, after explaining that the page allows searches using filters, chats and internal messaging among those interested, as well as enabling the conduction of online castings, since the platform has the possibility of helping interested parties make a candidate selection, sending them the script for them to do their tests, then receive the video and that way make a good selection.

The page will be initially aimed at the Hispanic market, and will then go to the Anglo market. Clark explains that they also want to reach other markets, like the Mexican, the Colombian, the Argentinean, among others.

“This initiative arose from a need we detected, because you don’t always find the talent you are looking for. This allows connecting talent with whoever needs it. We are not substituting for the manager, because he, too can use the platform, not only to offer those he represents, but to place himself, for those who need a manager for their career,” said Clark.

The event will have a red carpet and then a cocktail party. The webpage’s business model is through subscriptions, and as well as the venue for the meeting, they will post news from the industry.
