José Calderoni appointed SVP and Head of Streaming, Latin America for Paramount

Paramount has appointed José Calderoni SVP and Head of Streaming for Latin America. Calderoni will be part of the global streaming organization and will report to the Executive Vice Presidents and International General Managers of Paramount+, Marco Nobili, and Pluto TV, Olivier Jollet.

Based in Miami, Calderoni most recently served as Head of Growth Marketing for HBO Max in Latin America.

Calderoni will oversee the company’s streaming footprint in the region, which includes both Paramount+ and Pluto TV across more than 20 countries, including the Caribbean.

Calderoni will lead all the regional and local streaming teams, strategic vision, and operation of both products in the region, to execute against the company’s objectives, with a strong emphasis on the development and implementation of a growth strategy.

This executive brings extensive knowledge of the entertainment, digital, and streaming industries to this role, with his nearly 10 years of experience in the international streaming business which spans Netflix, HBO Max, and STARZPLAY.
