Lifetime: Christmas movies are a hit on all our platforms

Amor en Navidad Press Conference Lifetime
Christmas movies, both original ones produced in Latin America between Lifetime, VIP 2000 TV, and Yahayra Films, as well as Anglo ones , are among the channel’s most successful content in the region. “We want more Christmas movies and episodes. They are a hit on all Lifetime’s platforms, it is what is consumed the most, that is why we program it in July, November, and December” expressed Carmen Larios, Senior VP of Programming and Production at A&E and Lifetime during the press conference to present the four new Amor en Navidad love movies, a franchise that already has eight productions.
Lifetime this year has 60 films and 22 Christmas releases, in addition to the four new Latin American productions in the Amor en Navidad collection, now totaling eight.
Larios added that the Amor en Navidad films “complement in a unique way this season’s entertainment offer and allow us to approach our audience with topics that reflect our reality. We are very pleased to be able to tell local stories in the international scope”.
“We are very proud to continue our alliance with Lifetime to produce content of the highest quality with Latin American talent—mainly female—in front of and behind cameras. These four new Amor en Navidad films for Lifetime are stories filled with emotions and family tradition that will be very well received by all the audiences in Latin America and the world” commented Roxana Rotundo, CEO of VIP 2000 TV.
The new Lifetime Christmas Movies: Amor en Navidad films, whose broadcast starts Saturday November 18 in the 10pm slot (Mexico and Venezuela), 9pm (Colombia) and 11pm (Argentina y Chile), are Novios por Navidad, Mi Amor en Navidad, Juntos esta Navidad and Intercambio Navideño.
These films star an international cast of actors from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Venezuela, with Marjorie De Sousa and Gonzalo García Vivanco; Africa Zavala and Rodrigo Guirao; Cecilia Galliano y and Leon Peraza; Fabiola Campomanes and Carlos Ponce in the lead roles.

The franchise Lifetime Christmas Movies: Amor en Navidad has different locations in Guadalajara, Mexico, with amazing landscapes, architectural richness, and modern constructions.
Amor en Navidad is a Lifetime co-production with VIP 2000 TV and Yahayra Films, production companies of the series Amores que Engañan. Henry Colmenares and Hector Rodríguez are the directors.
