The Univision Puerto Rico television station family celebrates with the stations news director after receiving his Silver Circle Award
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Suncoast Chapter honored Roberto Vizcon, Univision Puerto Rico´s news director, with the Silver Circle Award for his 34 years of service in the television industry. The surprise celebration took place in the newsroom studios of Las Noticias Univisión where his colleagues celebrated the academys honor granted only to those that have worked for 25 or more years in the television industry and that have contributed significantly to its development and progress. Vizcon is also the winner of the influential Communicator of the Year award from Saint Thomas University, in Miami, Florida. He whole heartedly expressed his gratitude to his colleagues for the impromptu gathering and thanked them as well for being so well received by his peers at the station, where he started working March 4th.
