With its focus on the 2026 World Cup, NEEWZ.AI aims to position itself as a key tool in the evolution of the media ecosystem
The new platform NEEWZ.AI, led by Rodrigo Gonzales, CEO, and Jonathan Blum, media executive and Head of Business Development, enables media companies to discover, verify, and license user-generated content (UGC) in real time, opening new business opportunities for broadcasters with and without event rights.
As part of its market entry, NEEWZ.AI is introducing a solution specifically designed for the FIFA World Cup 2026, aiming to transform how media companies access, validate, and monetize content in real time.
The initiative comes at a time when content generated from mobile devices has become a primary source of information. According to Gonzales in statements to PRODU, the platform was created in response to the growing need for speed, accuracy, and new revenue models in the media industry.

“Today, we can no longer think that we can only make money from traditional productions. We need to understand how to leverage content that is already being generated to work faster, rebuild trust, and open new monetization streams,” Gonzales said.
Blum explained that NEEWZ.AI operates as a comprehensive infrastructure covering the entire lifecycle of user-generated content.
The platform is built on four key pillars:
-Real-time content discovery
-AI-powered verification and forensic analysis
-Automated rights negotiation
-Content licensing and distribution
“It’s a system that doesn’t replace journalism, but enhances it. It allows a media company to be present anywhere in the world, accessing content generated from mobile phones, which are now the true global cameras,” he said.
The process runs in seconds and includes validations such as user authenticity, bot detection, geolocation, and media analysis, ensuring the reliability of the material.
As part of its development, the company conducted tests during the UEFA Champions League in three cities simultaneously, collecting more than 17,000 pieces of user-generated content.
This pilot validated the platform’s ability to identify, verify, and structure content in real time, laying the groundwork for deployment at global-scale events such as the 2026 World Cup.
One of NEEWZ.AI’s key differentiators is its focus on monetization, especially relevant for media companies that do not hold broadcast rights.
According to Gonzales, the platform allows broadcasters to access licensed content without incurring production, travel, or equipment costs, while also obtaining usage rights that can be commercially exploited.
“We give channels the ability to receive content they don’t pay to produce and still monetize it—from commercial packages to brand integrations,” he said.
In the context of the 2026 World Cup, the solution will allow media companies to capture content surrounding the event—such as fans in stadiums, hotels, or city celebrations—and turn it into commercial inventory.
Blum added that this approach opens opportunities for organic advertising based on real consumer content interacting with products, something that has been difficult to structure and monetize until now.
The platform includes a real-time rights management system, where users can track content status using a color-coded system:
–Red: no rights
–Yellow: under negotiation
–Green: ready for use
It also allows selection of formats, territories, and exploitation windows, offering flexibility to media companies.
Thanks to artificial intelligence, the experience is personalized based on the client’s profile, audience, and editorial needs.
NEEWZ.AI will begin operations focusing on the Spanish-speaking market, which exceeds 600 million people globally.
For Gonzales, this represents a strategic audience due to both its growth and innovation potential. “It’s a massive, professional market with a wealth of stories that often don’t reach global visibility. We want to connect that information and make it accessible, verifiable, and monetizable,” he said.
With its focus on the 2026 World Cup, NEEWZ.AI aims to position itself as a key tool in the evolution of the media ecosystem, where speed, trust, and monetization will be critical.
The company is already closing deals with clients and industry partners, with the goal of deploying its solution during the world’s most important sporting event.
