The celebrity interview show, Secretos, of which Univision Digital aired 50 interviews in 5 to 10-minute episodes, is in negotiations to be launched as a segment in an important space of the network on the linear screen. Secretos is a production of Timeworks Group (Miami Beach), whose co-founder and CEO is Mireia Carrillo.

Carrillo, who is also showrunner, executive producer and host of Secretos, comments that it is a “very different show” that revolutionized the Hispanic market. “A unique audio and graphic storytelling were created to support both the questions and answers in the show,” added the executive.

Secretos generated 100 million organic video views and was available on Univision Digital, where it became one of the most-watched contents, and also on Facebook Watch and YouTube. It deserved the Estrellas Digitales and the Telly Award 2020.

The most-watched interviews on YouTube included Karol G, Becky G, Angelique Boyer, Michell Brown, and Julián Gil, while on Facebook, Julián Gil, and Ana Brenda Contreras, were among the top most-watched.

Carrillo started as showrunner in her natal Spain, and even though she studied Business Administration, what she was passionate about was film directing and supervising acting.

Additionally, she is working on three series: Stories (terror), Escape (thriller), and Subway (which she is developing together with Luis Sánchez Polack). The series is thought for 10 episodes, 45 minutes each and it is estimated that they will be ready for 2021.

They are also preparing a satirical newscast, La Noticia Rebelde (for vertical) and Fenómenos Paranormales, a co-production with High Hill, with 10 to 12-minute episodes, in which Carrillo is the co-host.
