The actor and singer Patricio Borghetti has joined the team of the renovated Azteca America daytime show Venga la Alegría as one of the principal hosts.
Born in Argentina, Borghetti is known in Mexico for acting in several telenovelas aimed at a young audience. He has also appeared on reality shows Big Brother VIP 3 and Cantando por un Sueño.
As a solo singer, Patricio Borghetti has released two studio albums and was also a part of the musical group DKDA, launched from the successful telenovela of the same name.
The other hosts of Venga la Alegría, which airs Monday through Friday at 12 pm, are Natalia Valenzuela, Ingrid Coronado, Sergio Sepúlveda, Tábata Jalil, Vanessa Claudio, Ricardo Casares, and “El Capi”. Tania Rincón will be on maternity leave from the show for a few months.
